Our optical offers a variety of fun and fashionable eyewear to choose from, but before you choose your new favorite pair of glasses, you will need an eye exam from one of our thorough and knowledgeable Optometrists! Our team of Optometrists includes Dr. David Gilbert, Dr. Deena Falsetta-Gilbert and Dr. Rachel Willcoxon. Gilbert Eyecare provides both your optical needs and medical eye care for all age groups, ranging from child to senior. Gilbert Eyecare also offers an extraordinary Vision Therapy Program with a trained Vision Therapist for children and young adults with decreased binocular vision. Dr. Gilbert met his wife, Dr. Falsetta-Gilbert, in Optometry school at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where they both graduated in 2002. A Michigan native, Dr. Deena Falsetta-Gilbert went on to complete a pediatric residency at Salus University in Philadelphia. Her specialties include pediatric Optometry and vision therapy. Dr. Rachel Willcoxon is the newest addition to Gilbert Eyecare and although she does not carry the name “Gilbert,” she is still part of the Gilbert Eyecare family. Dr. Willcoxon graduated from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee and moved from Atlanta, Georgia to Virginia Beach, Virginia to join Gilbert Eyecare in early 2020.
